I'm Aristide, a creative full stack engineer.

Here's a quick intro about me and what I love to do

My programming origins
I grew up curious — tinkering with machines, art, and music — which led me naturally into programming. At African Leadership University I studied Software Engineering with a specialization in Machine Learning. I started with small school projects, then expanded through intensive programs like ALX and The Gym, where hands-on work and real-world challenges shaped my practical approach to building software.

Finding My Way to Web
My path to web development grew from a love of design. Learning UI/UX married my artistic background with engineering, and programs like The Gym and ALX guided me toward web and mobile. I enjoy crafting user-centered interfaces and building full-stack solutions — translating visual ideas into interactive, reliable products that people use every day.

Life Beyond Code
I don't keep to a single hobby — I'm often "here and there" exploring creative outlets. Fine arts and painting are my main escapes, alongside piano and guitar. These practices sharpen patience, observation, and imagination, and they feed my problem-solving in software. I find balance in alternating between canvases and code, letting each discipline inform the other.
Family has always been my center, and seeing ours grow has been life's greatest joy. Our daughter ElizaJane arrived in 2021, bringing endless wonder to our days, and little Renny joined our crew in 2023, completing our circle.

These Days
These days I work as a software engineer with Ojemba GmbH, contributing to client projects across front-end and back-end stacks. Alongside my day job I drive personal projects centered on machine learning and data science, building models and product integrations. I also mentor learners and enjoy turning research ideas into practical tools that can drive impact, especially across Africa.
When I'm not working, you'll find me on creative coding side projects, writing for my blog, failing spectacularly at games with friends, or—best of all—hanging out with my family, usually with coffee nearby and dad jokes at the ready.
